The Kentucky Board of Chiropractic Examiners extends Happy New Year wishes to all. Remember, with the New Year comes the time to renew your license.

The renewal deadline for all chiropractic licenses is 03/01/2024. The regular renewal fee is $250 for active status and $75 for inactive status. After 03/01/2024, those who have not renewed will be assessed a late fee of $300. Failure to complete your renewal by 04/16/2024 will result in termination of your license.

03/01/2024 – Deadline to avoid late assessment fee of $300.

04/16/2024 – Date termination of license will occur if all fees are not paid.

You must renew online through eServices at https://oop.ky.gov/DPLServices/login.aspx. If you have forgotten your username or password, click on the Forgot Password link and enter your OP ID#.

Please make sure to attach proof of completed continuing education along with all other required documentation. Pursuant to 201 KAR 21:041, chiropractors are required to obtain twelve (12) hours of board-approved continuing education for renewal of licensure. Continuing education can be obtained in a live setting, online setting, or a combination of both. A maximum of eight (8) hours can completed in a day and the course must be Kentucky Board approved.

Continuing education hours cannot be carried over from the previous year. A new licensee shall be exempt from the continuing education requirements for the first license renewal, with the exception of the jurisprudence course, which must be taken prior to the first license renewal.

  • On September 27, 2023, the following regulations were amended and a new regulation on Telehealth was adopted by the Board. The official version of these regulations may be reviewed in their entirety on the Legislative Research Commission website at lrc.ky.gov. These regulations are also available on the board’s website under the Legal tab at kbce.ky.gov.

  • The Peer Review Committee is seeking applications for members to serve as a peer reviewer for the Board. If you are interested in applying, please contact the Board office.
