Lexington, KY – The Kentucky Association of Chiropractors (KAC) proudly awarded Dr. Sanda Crnkic Mandrapa of Bowling Green, KY, the distinguished Chiropractor of the Year award in recognition of her outstanding achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence.

With over 108 years of service to the chiropractic profession, the KAC bestows this prestigious honor upon a chiropractor who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and contributions over the past year.

KAC Executive Director Rachel Wendt stated, “Dr. Crnkic Mandrapa has a distinguished history of leading by example, making a profound impact not only within the chiropractic profession but also on her patients and community. The KAC is honored to recognize her remarkable accomplishments, which continue to advance the future of chiropractic care.”

Originally from Bosnia, Dr. Crnkic Mandrapa moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky, during high school. She later earned her undergraduate degree and ultimately her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, graduating in August 2007. Upon returning to Bowling Green, she established her practice, SpineCare Chiropractic, in Franklin, KY, in 2010. Her practice offers a variety of treatment options and provides Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Crnkic Mandrapa is deeply committed to her community. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and contributing to the success of her husband’s restaurants. Her dedication and service were acknowledged by her peers, who selected her as the Chiropractor of the Year during the KAC’s annual conference in the fall of 2024.

Since obtaining her chiropractic license, Dr. Crnkic Mandrapa has been an active KAC member and has served on the board for 15 years. Her leadership roles include KAC District 4 Director, KAC 2nd Vice President, KAC 1st Vice President, and her current position as KAC President.

The award was presented at the 2025 LB Payne Insurance Seminar, hosted by the KAC in Louisville, Kentucky, on January 18-19, 2024. This well-attended annual event attracted over 150 participants and featured clinical education sessions addressing key topics impacting chiropractic and healthcare in Kentucky.
