Below is an email we sent to doctors using the latest list of Infinedi users we had from from January 2025 regarding Infinedi. We understand that list may not be current or all inclusive as of 2026, hence the post here. As we know more or hear directly from Infinedi, we will update this post and keep doctors updated.
Dear Doctors,
This message applies only to providers who use Infinedi as their clearinghouse for submitting chiropractic claims. If you do not use Infinedi, you can disregard this email.
__________
What’s happening: It has been brought to our attention that Infinedi is currently performing maintenance on their system.
Why this matters: During this maintenance, if you are still submitting your claims, some EHR systems may show a claim as “submitted” even though Infinedi did not actually receive it or send it on to the insurance company.
What we recommend: If you use Infinedi as your clearninghouse, you may want to consider holding your claims for a day or two, or until you hear further from KAC or Infinedi directly.
We will share an update as soon as we have more information.
If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to us at kac@thekac.org.
Statement from Infinedi on 6/19/2026:
“On Wednesday June 17th we discovered a cyber threat actor had compromised our systems; we immediately assembled a team of industry experts to secure our systems and are working on restoring normal operations. The privacy and security of our client’s data is our prime concern. At this point we do not know how long our systems will be off line but are aiming for restoration in the next two days. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Infinedi also noted that their customer service database is housed on the affected servers and has been shut down as part of their security measures. This would explain why customers have not received email updates regarding the situation.
