**Lexington, KY** – Dr. Kate Baker of Henderson, KY, received the esteemed Chiropractor of the Year award from the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors (KAC) in acknowledgment of her significant achievements and unwavering dedication to excellence.

According to KAC Executive Director Rachel Wendt, “Dr. Baker has a distinguished history of leading by example, leaving a positive impact not only on her profession but also on her patients and community. The KAC takes great pride in recognizing her outstanding accomplishments, which continually enhance opportunities for the future of chiropractic.”

Originally hailing from Buffalo Grove, IL, Dr. Baker relocated to Kentucky with her husband after graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic (St. Louis) in 2011. Specializing in pediatric and women’s health care issues, Dr. Kate employs a range of techniques, including Webster technique for pregnant women, Flexion-Distraction, Diversified, Gonstead, Logan Basic, Activator, Graston, and Dry Needling.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Baker is deeply committed to her community and enjoys activities such as running, outdoor pursuits, yoga, and spending quality time with her family. Dr. Baker’s outstanding leadership qualities were recognized by her peers who voted for her as the Chiropractor of the Year during the KAC’s annual conference in fall 2023.

Maintaining KAC membership since licensure, Dr. Baker has dedicated a remarkable 13 years to board service, holding positions such as District 2 Alternate Director, KAC Bylaws Chair, and recently elected as the 2nd Vice President in 2023. On a national level, she serves as the Kentucky ACA Delegate and holds the position of treasurer for the ACA Pediatric Council.

The award presentation took place at the 2024 LB Payne Insurance Seminar hosted by KAC in Louisville, Kentucky, on January 20, 2024. This well-attended annual event drew over 150 participants and featured clinical education sessions addressing topics impacting chiropractic and healthcare in Kentucky.
