Theresa “Teri” Prince, of Murray, KY and Lakewood Ranch, FL passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on June 21, 1957, in Rolling Meadows, IL, a beloved and cherished member of her community, Teri was a devoted individual who touched the lives of many.
Teri pursued her education at Murray State University and Logan College of Chiropractic, where she laid the foundation for a distinguished career. She was a respected figure in her field, having served as District Director for the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors. Dr. Teri was recognized as the KAC’s Chiropractor of the Year in 2006, an honor she shared with Dr. Andrew Slavik. This award reflected her commitment to the profession and her steady leadership within the Association. For many years, she served on the KAC Legislative Committee, where she contributed to key policy initiatives that supported chiropractors in Kentucky.
Teri is survived by her loving son, Steven Prince, and his wife Kelley, as well as her grandsons, Evan and Owen Prince. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Grantz, and her parents, Ed and Cindy (nee Summers) Sawicki.
In her personal time, Teri enjoyed golf, crafts, gardening, and music, which brought joy and fulfillment to her life.
Per Teri’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. This will be a joint service with her husband, Thomas Elton Grantz who passed away August 23, 2024.
