Email from the KBCE:

Dear Licensee:

The renewal date for your Chiropractor license is 03/01/2025. Your current license will expire on 04/16/2025, which includes a grace period if applicable. Failure to renew your license shall constitute sufficient cause for termination/cancellation of licensure. Licenses not renewed by 04/16/2025 will terminate/be cancelled and you are hereby advised at such time you shall not practice as a/an Chiropractor in Kentucky.

You may renew online through Online Services at https://oop.ky.gov/DPLServices/login.aspx. If you have not already created an account, you can use the OP ID Number listed above to create your user account. If you have created an Online Services account but have forgotten your username or password, click on the Forgot Password link and enter your OP ID# that is listed at the top of this email to access your account. The OP ID number is unique to you so please keep in a safe location for reference. If required, please make sure to attach proof of completed continuing education along with all other required documentation.

Pursuant to 201 KAR 21:041 Section 3, chiropractors are required to obtain twelve (12) hours of board approved continuing education for renewal of licensure. Continuing education can be obtained in a live setting, online setting, or a combination of both. Continuing education hours cannot be carried over from the previous year. An initial licensee shall be exempt from the continuing education requirements for the first license renewal, with the exception of the jurisprudence class which must be taken prior to the first license renewal.

If you are no longer working or practicing and do not wish for your license to be terminated, you may place your license in an inactive status by completing the appropriate form and paying the inactive license fee. In accordance with 201 KAR 21:041, a licensee who holds an inactive license shall pay seventy-five (75) dollars annually to establish or maintain inactive status.

If you are no longer working or practicing and do not wish for your license to be terminated, you may place your license in an inactive status if applicable to your board by completing the appropriate form and paying the inactive license fee.

Please note that a late fee may apply if you do not renew by 03/01/2025.

If you have further questions, please contact the Board Administrator at (502) 892-4250 or by email at kbce@ky.gov.
