I have been a member of the KAC since I started my practice eight years ago. I cannot imagine practicing without being involved with the KAC. When you are a member and actually participate by attending your district meetings, yearly seminars, Convention etc.; you as a practicing chiropractor in the state of KY stay informed of what is happening in your state.
By joining the KAC, you enter an association filled with people you can turn to when you have questions. You join the ranks of other chiropractors who "have your back" when it comes to insurance companies, and other organizations who are trying to take away your rights and benefits to practice in this state. You, as a practicing doctor, have the opportunity to take action and fight for your rights to practice by having a voice through the KAC and even working toward introducing new legislation that will protect, even improve, our rights to practice.
When you're a member of the KAC, you don't have to sit down and take mistreatment by insurance companies. Instead, you take a stand together and figure out how to make changes! You can bet the senators and representatives in Frankfort know who the KAC is now because of the huge effort initiated by the KAC this year.
The way I see it, you can either sit or worry about what the future holds for you and your practice, or you can take the opportunity to join this group of dedicated doctors and make your future what you want. Take a stand, join me and the KAC!
